Common questions

What does it cost?

Each app shows its price before you run it: 25¢ for a service report, refrigerant log update, data plate or sizing check, and 50¢ for a replacement quote or maintenance agreement. New accounts get $10 in free credits. There are no monthly fees.

Does the refrigerant log meet EPA Section 608?

It keeps the records Section 608 asks for (date, unit, refrigerant, pounds added or recovered, leak found, technician and certification) and works out the annualized leak rate each time refrigerant is added, flagging units over EPA's limit for their type. Check EPA's rules for what applies to each unit.

Is the sizing check a Manual J?

No. It's a quick rule of thumb from square feet, climate, insulation and ceiling height that shows whether a system looks about right, oversized or undersized. A new system should be sized with a Manual J load calculation.

Is the math done by AI?

No. The AI reads notes and writes the documents. Monthly payments, energy savings, plan prices, leak rates, tonnage and age are worked out by the app, so you can check them.
