How it works
For owner operators and small fleet owners who keep maintenance records on receipts, in a notebook or in their head. Type your service notes the way you'd text them (“5/12 oil change and filters at 412,300, $385 at Rush. 6/2 new steers, Michelin, $1,240. 7/9 replaced DPF sensor myself $180”), with the truck and its odometer now, and how often you do a PM service. Haul Maintenance Log turns it into a clean service log, one row per job with the date, odometer, work done, category (PM service, tires, brakes, engine, aftertreatment, electrical and more), shop, parts and cost. The app works out what you've spent, your maintenance cost per mile, what you spent on each kind of work, and what's coming due: your next PM service by miles and your next annual DOT inspection by date. Anything the notes say still needs doing is listed too. Download a spreadsheet for Excel or Google Sheets and keep adding to it, so you have the records a buyer, an inspector or your tax preparer asks for.
