For roofing contractors ordering materials for every storm job. Enter the squares, waste factor, and the feet of eaves, rakes, ridges, hips and valleys from your roof report, plus pipe jacks, vents, rows of ice and water barrier, the shingle and underlayment type, the nailing pattern, and the brand and color. Storm Material Order works out the order: shingle bundles with waste, starter strip, hip and ridge cap, drip edge in 10 foot pieces, underlayment rolls, ice and water barrier rolls, boxes of coil nails (four or six nails a shingle), pipe jacks and vents, showing how each number was figured. It writes the order to text or email your supplier with the job, delivery address and date, and points out anything worth a second look, like a low waste factor or valleys with no ice and water barrier. Coverage varies by brand, so check the label; the math is done by the app, not guessed.
