How it works
For roofing contractors who explain the same insurance money to every homeowner, and homeowners trying to make sense of their checks. Enter the replacement cost (RCV) and depreciation from the insurance estimate, any depreciation that isn't recoverable, the deductible, approved supplements, upgrades the homeowner chose, what's been received so far and the job price. Storm Claim Check works it out: the first check (actual cash value), the depreciation held back until the work is done, what insurance pays in all, what's still to come, and the homeowner's share (the deductible and any extras). It lays out the order the money comes in, the next steps (depositing the check, getting the mortgage company to endorse it, sending the final invoice and certificate of completion to release the depreciation), and writes a short, friendly message to send the homeowner. It never suggests waiving the deductible. The math is done by the app, not guessed.
