How it works
For owner operators and small fleet owners handed a roadside inspection report (the Driver/Vehicle Examination Report) by a DOT officer or state trooper. Upload the report as a photo or PDF. Haul Inspection Reader explains every violation in plain English: the code as printed (like 393.9 lighting or 395.8 logs), what it means, whether it was written on the driver, truck or trailer, whether it was out of service, whether a ticket was issued, and what to fix. It shows which CSA BASIC each violation counts against (Vehicle Maintenance, Hours of Service, Unsafe Driving, Driver Fitness and the rest) and the dates that matter: when to sign and return the report after repairs (15 days), when the inspection starts counting less on your CSA scores, and when it drops off after 24 months. If the report itself shows something that looks wrong, like a violation on the wrong unit, you get a note on a possible DataQs challenge. A clean inspection gets a thumbs up too. It explains the report; it isn't legal advice.
It explains your inspection report; it isn't legal advice.
