How it works
For owner operators and small fleets with a dashboard full of faded receipts. Snap a fuel, truck stop, shop or tire receipt, or upload a fuel card statement, and add a word about what it was for if you like. Haul Receipt Sorter reads every line and sorts it into the categories truckers and their tax preparers use: diesel, reefer fuel, DEF, tolls, scales, parking, repairs and maintenance, tires, truck wash, lumper fees, supplies like straps and tarps, permits, insurance, phone and ELD, meals on the road, lodging, load boards and more. Personal items like snacks for home or lottery tickets are set aside. Diesel gallons are totaled by the state you bought them in, with the price per gallon, so they drop straight into your quarterly IFTA report. Anything that could go in two places or might need to be depreciated, like a big repair, is flagged for your tax preparer. Download a spreadsheet and keep it with your records. It sorts receipts for you and your preparer; it isn't tax advice.
This sorts your receipts; it isn't tax advice. Your tax preparer makes the final call.
