How it works
For funeral home owners and managers who want their General Price List (GPL) right before an FTC test shopper or a state inspector looks at it. Upload your GPL as a PDF or photo, or paste the text. Tribute Price List Checker checks it against the FTC Funeral Rule (16 CFR 453): the heading with your name, address and the "effective as of" date, the statement that families can choose only the items they want, the embalming disclosure, the alternative container disclosure for direct cremation, the basic services fee, and the casket and outer burial container price ranges and disclosures. Then it checks the 16 prices the rule requires, from forwarding and receiving remains, direct cremation and immediate burial, to transfer, embalming, other preparation, viewing, funeral ceremony, memorial service, graveside service, hearse, limousine and basic services. Each one is marked in place, unclear or missing with what your list says, and you get a short list of fixes, most important first. It reports what your price list shows; it isn't legal advice.
