How it works
For funeral directors finishing an arrangement conference. Type what the family selected the way you'd jot it down (“basic services 2195, transfer 395, embalming 795, viewing 450, service at church 595, hearse 395, 18-gauge Sterling casket 2895, vault 1295, register book 65, cemetery opening and closing 1200, 6 death certificates at 15, obituary 285”), along with your sales tax rate, any payment received and the reason for embalming. Tribute Itemized Statement sorts every line into services, merchandise and cash advance items, the way the FTC Funeral Rule asks the Statement of Funeral Goods and Services Selected to show them, and the app adds it up: subtotals, sales tax on merchandise only, cash advances, discounts, the total, payments and the balance due. The statement includes the Funeral Rule wording that charges are only for items selected or required, a place for the reason for embalming and any legal, cemetery or crematory requirement, and signature lines. If embalming is charged with no reason given, you're reminded before the family signs. Print it or save it as a PDF.
