Common questions
What does it cost?
Keeping owners, horses and barn visits in the Shoeing Log is free, and so are the Rotation & Due List and the Truck Stock Counter. A visit report card for an owner is 10¢ and a bill is 25¢. Hoof Photo Record and Vet & Owner Note are 10¢, and the Farrier Price Sheet is 25¢. New accounts get $10 in free credits. There are no monthly fees.
How is the trip fee split between owners?
By the horses you work. If you do 8 horses at a barn and 3 belong to one owner, that owner's bill has 3/8 of the trip fee for that visit, with the math shown on the bill.
Does the app diagnose hoof problems?
No. Hoof Photo Record describes what can be seen in the photos and marks anything a vet should look at. Vet & Owner Note writes up what you saw and did; the vet diagnoses and prescribes.
Are my photos uploaded?
Hoof photos are sent to read them, then not kept. Before and after pictures and report card photos are put together on your own phone and never uploaded.
